The two seat roadster will be pretty damn fast, with an electric motor up front able to produce 131 horsepower powered by a lithium ion battery and a turbocharged petrol engine for the rear wheels with 223 horsepower. That’s a total power of 354 horsepower, super fast for a convertible, while having a fuel consumption lower than a small car.
The BMW i8 Spyder is able to go 20 miles on electric power alone and it requires around two hours to be charged. It could be front wheel drive, rear wheel drive or all wheel drive, depending on the situation. It’s probably going to be freaking expensive, but I want it. Oh yeah.
