"I looked a lot at Brit pin-ups, characters that celebrated womanhood and David Lynch," says the designer backstage at his show, going on to note the more womanly and feminine ideal he sent down the catwalk this season.

"I'm always working in contrast to what I did the season before," he elaborates - cue a collection comprising cinched-in waists and amped up bosoms compared to spring/summer's sporty and casual aesthetic.
